Photographing the Norfolk countryside may not seem like a particularly dangerous way to spend your time but in order to get this image I came face to face with a truly fearsome creature; an angry squirrel that did not want to share his chestnuts. Undaunted by our relative sizes he ran up the tree next to me, until he was at head height , bared his teeth and screeched at me.
This is actually the floor of Felbrigg Woods, near Lions Mouth. The tree in the picture is part of the wood that is like a valley in minature. Ripe chestnuts and golden leaves exemplify an English wood in autumn. My image is a glossy, hand printed cibachrome

NORFOLK NATTER
We seem to have been struck by some nasty weather, high winds and driving rain. Also the dead sperm whale has been removed. The sudden boost in local trade will be missed I'm sure, but the whale had become a bit of a health hazard.
