Hercules woods meet.
NORFOLK NATTER
We seem to have been struck by some nasty weather, high winds and driving rain. Also the dead sperm whale has been removed. The sudden boost in local trade will be missed I'm sure, but the whale had become a bit of a health hazard.
Early October and the countryside starts to alter and become a little autumnal, as the leaves begin their slow colour change. This was taken in Blickling woods where the National Trust woodland meets the private Hercules wood, not far from Blickling Hall. The first cold autumn wind blew through the trees and the backlit leaves were spectacular.
