This is Morston, the place where the boat trips to see the seals begin. the marshes on the north coast have a bleak beauty. The mud may be photogenic but trying to keep your feet on it while taking a photo can have you clinging to your tripod for dear life. Places like Morston , Blakeney and Cley have a sort of frontier feel because they lie right on the edge of the habitable land, under constant threat from the sea. This image shows the quay where the boat trips to see the seals leave from, it is one of North Norfolk's most popular tourist attractions.
